  1. You need 1 cup of Roasted vermicelli.
  2. It’s 2 tbsp of Ghee/Clarified butter.
  3. It’s 1 cup of Sugar.
  4. It’s 2 cup of Water.
  5. Prepare 20-25 of Raisins.
  6. It’s 8-10 of Cashewnuts chopped.
  7. It’s 8-10 of Almonds chopped.
  8. It’s 5-6 of Cardamom powder.
  9. You need of Cashewnuts and almonds for garnishing.

Sweet Vermicelli (Vermicelli Jarda) step by step

  1. #Ingredients:.
  2. Add sugar and water in a vessel and boil until all the sugar dissolves..
  3. In a kadai take ghee and heat it..
  4. Add roasted vermicelli and mix well..
  5. Then add sugar syrup and mix well. Stir and bring it to boil..
  6. Lower the heat, cover the pan and let it cook till softened..
  7. When about half of the water dries up add raisins cashewnuts and almonds and stir gently..
  8. When it comes to semi dry consistency take off the flame..
  9. Add cardamom powder and mix well..
  10. Garnish with cashewnuts and almonds and serve hot/cold..
