Ingredients of Vermicelli Rava Idli

  1. Prepare 1 cup of Semolina.
  2. It’s 1 cup of Vermicelli.
  3. You need 1 cup of curd mix with 1cup water.
  4. You need 1/2 cup of grated carrot.
  5. You need 1/4 cup of beetroot juice.
  6. You need to taste of Salt.
  7. You need 1/4 tsp of eno's fruit salt.
  8. You need of For tempering-.
  9. It’s 1 tbsp of oil.
  10. You need 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
  11. Prepare 1 of chopped green chilli.
  12. Prepare 1/4 tsp of grated ginger.
  13. Prepare 8-10 of curry leaves.

Vermicelli Rava Idli instructions

  1. Dry roast the semolina/ rava, vermicelli separately until light brown & allow them to cool..
  2. Mix together semolina, vermicelli, curd,grated carrot & beetroot juice..
  3. Heat oil in a small pan,add mustard seeds,chopped green chillies,grated ginger,curry leaves & saute until curry leaves become crisp..
  4. Pour the tempering to the semolina- vermicelli mixture, mix well & keep the batter aside for 30 mints..
  5. Finally add salt,eno's fruit salt to the batter,mix well & pour batter to each idli mould & steam the idlis for 15 mints on medium heat..
  6. Serve it hot with coconut chutney..
