Fusilli & Cheese with Chilli Tuna. A variant of fusilli, called fusilli bucati, is made with hollow tubes of pasta that are twisted into little springs or corkscrews.   1. You need 220 gr of macaroni/ fusilli.
  2. You need 40 gr of butter.
  3. It’s 40 gr of flour.
  4. It’s 500 ml of milk.
  5. It’s 110 gr of cheddar/ gouda cheese.
  6. You need 2 of garlic.
  7. You need 1 of red chilli.
  8. It’s 1 can of tuna.
  9. You need 50 gr of breadcrumbs.
  10. It’s 2 of lime.
  11. Prepare of parsley.
  12. You need of salt & pepper.

Fusilli & Cheese with Chilli Tuna step by step

  1. Boil a pan of water. Put in the macaroni or fusilli pasta for 5 minutes.
  2. While you're cooking the pasta, heat a skillet/frying pan. Melt the butter then add the flour. After the mixture become paste, pour in the milk. Stir until the paste dissolve and reduce the heat.
  3. Keep stir the sauce (bechamel) until become thick, then turn off the heat. Grate the cheese into it, season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce onto the pasta in a oven-safe bowl. Mix well.
  4. Bake the pasta into an oven with 200 celcius for about 10 minutes. While waiting, saute the garlic, chilli, tuna, breadcrumbs, and parsley.
  5. Serve the cooked tuna on top of the baked pasta.
  6. Serve the cooked tuna on top of the baked pasta.

Fusilli may be solid or hollow. Instead of plain fusilli, try using red lentil fusilli, it adds a great (healthy) kick. Also, my first time making it I didn't have regular vodka on hand, only orange flavored vodka, but after making it with both the orange vodka DEFINITELY won.
