Ingredients of Mint Rice

  1. Prepare 1 cup of Basmati rice.
  2. It’s 1/4 cup of green peas.
  3. You need 2 of Bay Leaf.
  4. You need 5 of cashew nuts.
  5. Prepare 2 inch of cinnamon stick.
  6. You need 6 of black pepper.
  7. Prepare 2 of Cardamom.
  8. You need 2 of Onion sliced.
  9. You need 1 tablespoon of Oil.
  10. You need to taste of Salt.
  11. You need of For paste.
  12. You need 1 Cup of Mint leaves.
  13. You need 1/4 cup of green coriander.
  14. It’s 1/2 inch of ginger.
  15. You need 6 of garlic cloves.
  16. It’s 2-3 of green chilli.

Mint Rice step by step

  1. Soak rice in water for 15 minutes..
  2. Make paste of mint, green coriander, green chilli, ginger and garlic..
  3. Heat oil in pan. Add jeera and all whole spice in oil. Add cashew nuts..
  4. Now Add onion and saute it till turns light brown. Add green peas..
  5. Add paste. Fry masala till oil saprat from masala..
  6. Drain excess water from soaked rice and add into the cooked mixture..
  7. Add 1 and 1/2 cups water and salt. Cover it and Cook it on low flame for 10 minutes..
  8. Mint rice is ready to serve..
