Ingredients of Dalia Poha

  1. You need 1 cup of dalia.
  2. It’s 2 of onions.
  3. It’s 2 of tomatoes.
  4. You need 4-5 of green chillies.
  5. It’s leaves of Coriander.
  6. You need 1 teaspoon of Cumin seeds.
  7. It’s 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds.
  8. Prepare 50 gms of peanuts.
  9. Prepare of Kismis/raisins for garnish.
  10. Prepare 2 of tables spoon oil or ghee.
  11. It’s 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder.
  12. You need to taste of Salt.

Dalia Poha step by step

  1. Take ghee in a pan and heat the pan..
  2. Add Dalia in the hot ghee and roast it till golden brown on low flame. Add water and salt as per taste and wait till the Dalia is cooked..
  3. Dalia is ready for the tempering. Finely chop all the vegetables and keep aside.
  4. Now again take oil in a pan and add cumin and fennel seeds to the oil..
  5. Now add the chopped onions to the oil and Sautee them ti Golden brown.
  6. After the onions are golden in color add green peas and cook till the peas are cooked.
  7. After the peas are cooked add turmeric powder and salt as per taste and stir it again.
  8. Now add chopped tomatoes to the mix and cook it for sometime.
  9. After the tomatoes are half done add roasted peanuts to the pan.
  10. Mix everything together and stir it till everything is cooked. Add cooked Dalia and mix it again.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves and raisin.
